Simply consuming detox pills sounds like an easy way of getting clean fast to pass a drug test. But what’s the truth? In this guide, I’m going to tell you everything you need to know about using detox pills on their own, or in combination with detox drinks to create full “kits” to pass a drug test.

There are pros and cons to using detox pills, and some misconceptions I don’t want you to get caught out by, so I’ll cover everything you need to know in detail.

Not only will you learn exactly how drug detox pills work, and how to use them in a combo strategy with a detox drink, but I also go through the best and worst pill courses on the market, and give you detailed instructions on how to use the best.

How Do Drug Detox Pills Work?

Whether it’s a detox for weed, or any other type of drug, detox pills of high-strength can remove toxins from the body at a faster rate than can be achieved by your natural body system.

All proprietary pill formulations, include things like:

• Vitamins and minerals
• Compounds at speed up metabolism
• Diuretics
• Fiber to draw metabolites to the bowel
• Compounds that aid body systems health – so your organs and systems work optimally

The idea is that you take a short course, and along with a healthy lifestyle, you will push toxins generally out of your body at a significantly faster rate.

But how fast is fast?

Well, the best detox pills on the market, which I will cover in detail later in this guide, can push toxins out of your body up to 70% faster than is ever achieved naturally.

Note though, they are not a fast acting miracle pill. If you’ve got a short-notice drug test, then weed detox pills will never really detox you fully unless you have very low levels of metabolites in your body in the first place.

Don’t Buy Drug Detox Pills From Major Retailers

The best advice I can give you in initially choosing detox pills is to not go near any at the following types of places:

• Walmart
• Walgreens
• GNC
• Amazon
• eBay

The reasons for not doing this are as follows:

1. Detox pills from major retailers are always poor quality. You simply can’t buy specialist products from them.
2. The pills they do sell are weak and general detoxification agents. The idea is that you take them over several weeks alongside a healthy lifestyle to aid detoxification and health, but only to a small degree.
3. Amazon and eBay are especially famous for fakes. Don’t ever buy detox products from any marketplace sites.

Avoid Home Remedy Detox Courses

The worst suggestion for detoxification courses is to look at home remedy solutions.

Home remedies use household and easily obtainable items to allegedly do the work that professional-grade products can do, but obviously more affordably.

There aren’t really any detoxification pill courses available as a home remedy, but the closest all-rounder that is mentioned in nearly every breath with home remedies is something called the Sure Jell/Certo method.

Briefly, this is what the Sure Jell method involves and allegedly achieves:

1. The goal of this method is to target cannabis metabolites. Because they act differently in the body to other types of drug metabolites, this method aims to eradicate them to pass a drug test cheaply and effectively.
2. It uses fruit pectin to draw more cannabis metabolites into the bowel than can be achieved naturally.
3. It floods the body with several flushes of Gatorade and fruit pectin during the method. Using Gatorade is meant to be better because it contains compounds found in urine.
4. You also have to take creatine and multivitamins to try and keep the urine balanced.

The thing is though, it doesn’t really work. As you can see, it is a combo kit containing various types of things, including multivitamin pills, but it’s not really a detox pill course.

No home remedies work well, and even the Certo method (which actually only works for cannabis metabolites) doesn’t fully work and would potentially leave your sample diluted.

Let’s Talk About Weed Detox Kits

You will see products that claim to have a full solution in a single box. An example of this is the Rescue 5 day detox product. They also do a 10 day detox, and a 5 day “concentrates” product.

I’ll cover their products fully in the reviews later, but they claim to be a full detox solution, containing a range of different types of pills and sometimes a detox liquid that you mix up and consume as well.

But most of these are gimmicks. It’s just splitting almost identical constructions into different formats to make it look like a complete solution, when most of the time what’s in the detox liquid that’s included is basically what’s in the pills anyway.

There is one exception to this called Toxin Rid, and again, I will cover that in a full review shortly.

But as an example of “What’s in the box?”, Toxin Rid contains the following:

• Full course of daily pills
• Two-step detoxification liquid
• Optional fiber supplement (the cannabis metabolites)

The best thing to do is to team up your course of chosen pills with a high-quality individual detox drink to create your own kit, as I will explain later.

User Reviews: Best & Worst Detox Pill Courses

Let’s talk you through the best and worst of the popular products you will encounter on your search for the perfect detoxification pill course now.

1. Rescue 5 Day Detox (& 10 day detox upgrade)

The Rescue 5 day detox is the best of the rest. If you have a large body weight (over 200 lbs.) or you have very high levels of toxin exposure (usually daily cannabis smoker) then you’ll need the 10 day detox, although you should get clean faster.

However, it’s a bit of a lie that it’s a five-day detox, for the following reasons:

• You take four pre-rid pills the day before the five days start
• You take morning and evening pills for five days
• You then take eight ICE pills the day after

So it’s actually a seven-day process, not five. Will you have that long before your drug test?

These are okay, but they aren’t as good as the best. They aren’t as potent, and the ingredients simply don’t match up for quality, been proven, or total dosage guaranteed is high enough.

2. Herbal Pre-Cleanse Cleanse Formula

This is slightly different because it is good quality, but isn’t designed as a rapid detoxification course. You’ll get 60 capsules for your money, which is a month’s supply.

The idea is that you take them every day alongside natural detoxification, and they will speed up the process.

But they aren’t rapid and potent. I think they are really meant for daily cannabis smokers who just want to get clean a week or so faster (so in two or three weeks, rather than five or six weeks).Overall, they may be suitable for longer term permanent detoxification, but to get clean fast, they aren’t going to work well for you.

3. Herbal Clean Q-Caps/Q-Tabs/Q-Shot

Another month, another Herbal Clean detoxification kit course gets released, or so it seems. That should tell you something about my attitude towards this company’s products.

The latest three incarnations of what had been a myriad of pill course releases are Q-Caps, Q-Tabs, and Q-Shot.

They each approach things slightly differently:

• Q-Caps is a longer course that allegedly stronger
• Q-Tabs is a 10 pill day detox
• Q-Shot is a five pill & shot liquid one day detox

The problem is that the formulas are all really simple. There’s not a lot in these products, and from having researched their older products, the formulas are pretty much the same. Overall, this is mainly a repackaging exercise so the old bad reviews and feedback are pushed down, because the new products end that chain.

Two of the products are actually really masking products, because they are designed to be taken the day of your test for short-term masking the remaining toxins.

Q-Caps, simply aren’t potent enough. The pill course just won’t get you clean unless you have really low levels of toxins in your body.

I’m saving the best until last because there really is no competitor to Toxin Rid.

It’s the best, and most flexible, detoxification kit course you can get, for the following reasons:

• Affordable
• Ingredients are potent and proven
• Combo kit contains pills, liquid, and optional fiber supplement
• Fiber supplement specifically targets weed metabolites
• This works – I’ve used it

But it’s important to talk about the pros and cons of these detox pills generally before you reach for your wallet:

Course Lengths Explained & How To Choose What’s Right For You

Deciding how to use Toxin Rid can be tough, due to the wide range of different course lengths. Toxin Rid is available in course lengths from a single day through to 10 days. You can also purchase additional days on top.

Each course gives you the following, regardless of length:

• 15 potent Toxin Rid pills to take each day
• Detoxification liquid
• Detoxification fiber supplement

So what we are talking about is how many days are 15 pills per day you need to get clean? Well, that’s the million dollar question we can’t really answer.

However, what we can do is tell you that Toxin Rid speeds up the removal of toxins by 50% or even faster, and in some instances up to 75% faster.

So looking at these average drug detection times, you can half them:

• Cannabis 2 – 30 days (or even longer)
• Cocaine 2 – 4 days
• Amphetamines 1 – 3 days

I’m now going to talk you through the exact steps you’ll need to follow to use Toxin Rid successfully.

My Detox Strategy

There are a few tips I will add, after using a detox strategy to pass a drug test myself three years ago using Toxin Rid.

1. Firstly, make sure you buy cheap home drug tests for the drug you are monitoring. Start taking these tests daily from the middle of the course of pills, then you can start to see when you test negative.
2. Save a home drug test for the day of your actual test and take it one hour before you leave.
3. If you fail that home drug test before you leave, consume a bottle of Rescue Cleanse detox drink. Then, urinate three times during the next half an hour, and get to the test center as quickly as possible.

Overall, as you can see, detoxification pills will work if you give them time. You’ll need the best pills, Toxin Rid, and monitoring your progress will tell you how things are going.
