1. Human urine exits the body within a very narrow temperature range, at around 96°F – 100°F. Above that you would be so ill that you couldn’t attend, which is why it’s the upper limit. But to account for a legal maximum of two minutes of cooling, any sample above 90°F is valid.

So how fearful of them should you actually be? The eCup test is a standard five panel drug test in a “smart cup”. It contains everything you need to conduct a drug test.

Yes, lab tests can detect fake urine, but lab testing isn’t looking for it. It will only spot it if given the opportunity to do so.

These are the way the fake urine can be spotted during testing:

1. When you hand the sample over the temperature is tested. If it’s not between 90°F and 100°F then it’s not accepted as it couldn’t possibly come from the human body.
2. A suspicious person could shake the sample, smell it, or hold up the light. If it doesn’t look, smell, and froths like urine correctly then they will send it for a full analysis.
3. During the standard validity checks done, which are usually quite basic, it looks for creatinine, urea and uric acid, and also look at the pH and specific gravity. It may also look for common adulterants like nitrates, but that’s about it.

How to prepare an artificial urine sample?

 

How you prepare an artificial urine sample will depend entirely on the product you buy. There are two basic classes: those that use heatpads and those that don’t.

To prepare fake urine with a heatpad, you’ll need to activate it first. It’s simple to do, just by tearing a strip off which will then produce heat through air activation.

Then while it’s warming, you will microwave the sample. Check the temperature strip to ensure its cool (below the temperature that would record on the strip) and then microwave it for just 10 seconds on full power. Shake it and watch it for 30 seconds.

Repeat this microwave process until you get a good reading on the temperature strip. Then, stick the heatpad to the sample, and in theory it should then maintain that temperature. However, heatpads are notoriously unreliable.

Quick Fix urine is a product that relies on a heatpad to keep it within the temperature range needed to be a legal sample.

That means you’ll also potentially need a microwave, depending on the ambient temperature. Checking the temperature strip, you may need to then microwave it in short bursts to get a reading on it.

Activate the heatpad and then strap that to the Quick Fix sample. That should, hopefully, keep it within the correct temperature range between 90°F and 100°F. But the problem is that this is a very narrow range for to maintain when it will be against your body, have a heatpad, and the temperature outside and inside may be radically different.

On arrival, they can’t search you intimately, and you’ll have the sample tucked into your underwear. You’ll go into the room to submit your sample, and your check the temperature again.

Then you will pour the sample into the cup up to the required level. Make sure you go somewhat above the required level, and don’t be precise here otherwise it will be obvious.

Human urine exits the body within a surprisingly narrow temperature range, and is usually around 98°F, which is very close to body temperature. Unless you’re incredibly ill, the temperature of urine doesn’t go above 100°F. So that’s the upper limit on a legal sample.

Obviously as soon as you start urinating into the sample cup, the temperature starts to drop. Within two minutes of you urinating into the cup, the sample has to be tested for temperature. If they don’t do that, it’s not legal and if you fail a drug test you to that, you could appeal it.

To allow for this cooling, the sample can be as low as 90°F when it’s tested, giving you a 10° range of legality that you have to submit a fake sample within.

This is actually incredibly difficult to do if you are using heatpads, which can kick out a very uneven heat.

Most also contain sodium chloride (salt), potassium chloride and sodium phosphate. These things help to maintain the pH and specific gravity in a similar range to human urine.

The more complex the synthetic urine is, the more likely it is to pass a more advanced check on its before the drug test is done, call the validity test. How to read temperature strip on synthetic urine

 

Although the format of the temperature strip will be different, depending on the fake urine you buy, all you need to know is that they show exactly the same thing.

Legally, urine has to be between 90°F and 100°F to be valid. Outside that range, it simply couldn’t have exited the human body.

The bottom temperature on the strip will be 90°F, and the top will be 100°F. Sometimes you have different colors for the current temperature, with green showing the optimum temperature, usually at around 96 – 98°F.

One thing I always tell people to be careful of is that the temperature of the sample isn’t above 100°F at the start. Some people get fooled into thinking it’s cooler because there is no reading, and then they heat it up even further, making it ridiculously warm.

If the ambient temperature is hot, and you really are in doubt about the temperature of the sample, then stick a sterilized thermometer into it for a minute to see.

But generally, in most cases, as long as the ambient temperature outside isn’t ridiculously hot in your area, then it’s simply a case of ensuring that you get a reading on the temperature strip, and if you can, as close to the top end as you can get without going above 100°F.

 

How long is synthetic urine good for after opening

 

Once synthetic urine has been opened and exposed to air, it will start to spoil immediately as bacterial growth takes hold. How quickly that happens depends on a number of circumstances which I can’t bore you with the details of here.

Even refrigerated though, within 24 hours the chemical structure could be altered enough to be spotted somehow on the validity checks, with the deterioration affecting something in it.

Please don’t open synthetic urine until you need to use it. Keep its exposure to air to an absolute minimum. Also note, that powdered urine isn’t quite the same. It doesn’t spoil as readily, because bacteria won’t get into it and proliferate as quickly as if it’s a liquid.

How long this takes is impossible to tell you. The product, ambient temperature, storage location, all of these things will alter the time. Generally though, you should not be opening it until just before you use it. Within a handful of hours at most.

How to use Monkey Whizz belt?
